Business Litigation & Disputes
When a customer, vendor or partner doesn't hold up their end, or another company's conduct costs you, I represent your business in state and federal court. I also advise owners on litigation risk before a dispute grows.

After law school, I clerked for the Hon. Harvey E. Schlesinger of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, so I've also seen litigation from the judge's side. Then I practiced at large and small firms. Now your business works with me directly, from the demand letter to the courtroom.
The disputes I take
If your business got a demand letter or was served with a lawsuit, or a deal went bad and the other side won't make it right, it's probably on this list.
Breach of contract
A customer, vendor, partner or another business didn't do what the agreement required, and it cost you.
Where I come in: A demand, and a lawsuit in state or federal court when it calls for one.
Business torts
Harm to your business from another party's wrongful conduct, such as fraud, rather than from a broken contract.
Where I come in: Claims in state or federal court.
Demands before a lawsuit
You got a demand letter, or you're deciding whether to send one.
Where I come in: A clear view of the risks either way, then the response.
Defamation of a business
False statements about your company or its owners that cost you customers.
Where I come in: Cease and desist letters, and lawsuits.
How I handle defamation
Bring me the contract and the paper trail.
